Holiday Red Poinsettia Design Brooch

This is the first crochet brooch I design today.  It is inspired by poinsettia and specially design for the holiday season.  I finished this brooch with a gold color vintage button that I bought from another seller that day.  It match well and looks great, I am happy with it!

I spent about 2hours at Michael’s and Joann in the afternoon, I really enjoy shopping at craft store, because I can always find something interesting and useful.  Today I found a yarn I like, it is kind of purplish blue, I think I can make a nice men neck warmer from it.

When I look at my gallery on ETSY, it reminds me of using more colors.  Even I am mainly crocheting accessory for men, I believe I could spice it up with more bright colors!  Are you guys love more colors other than earthtone and blue?
