Crochet Projects

Santa Fe River

I will continue to share some photos from the Santa Fe trip, but I probably just pick some that I really like, since the trip was a while ago.Today, I will try to list out my crochet status, to update you and also reminding myself things that I need to get done!  I wanted to crochet a nanny square blanket.  I started a flower pattern square, but didn’t like it too much and it took too long to finish each one.  So I decided to use a simpler pattern, I have done 7 so far, haven’t really like it yet, but my friend said they look great.

Then I have a huge blanket project that I have been working on nearly two years!  A while ago I couldn’t even find the yarn anymore, I had to order it online.  I started a felted tote bag project few months ago, it is half way through now, perhaps I can finish it soon.

I finished a large retro beach hat today, it is in lavender color, I modified the pattern from a Japanese pattern book.  I finished the hat with white trim and attached a three layers flower on it.

I heard Google is going to discontinue the notebooks service.  I am not happy since I kept all my notes there and I use it frequently.  I guess notebook is not profitable to them.  Nowadays, you can’t even depend on Google, who else is trustful?  Just my opinion, Google’s products are cool, but very amateur sometimes.  I used to use Blogger, but now I am in love with WordPress, it has been improving so much compare with Blogger…. still look like a beta product.

I am exploring Zoho Personal now.  The product looks great, has rich features, but I don’t really need all that.  I will use the notes feature to keep my draft, my crochet designs, ideas etc.
